Q: What are the differences between the available cooling technologies, and how do I choose the right one?

Evaporative cooling clothing uses water evaporation and requires no battery, making it suitable for outdoor work, especially in dry and well-ventilated environments. 

Phase change material (PCM) clothing provides stable, controlled cooling through reusable cooling packs that must be recharged in a freezer or another suitable low-temperature environment.

Semiconductor cooling clothing provides active cooling through battery-powered thermoelectric modules, while vortex cooling clothing uses compressed air and is better suited to fixed industrial workstations. 

We recommend the most suitable option based on temperature, humidity, working time, mobility, power availability, protective requirements, and budget.

Q: How is the cooling effect verified? Can you provide a test report?

Cooling performance is evaluated according to the product type, including cooling temperature, operating duration, airflow, power consumption, and performance under specified environmental conditions. Product specifications, operating data, and available test documents can be provided for the selected model. If your project requires testing according to a specific national, industry, or customer standard, please inform us before ordering so that we can confirm the applicable test requirements and documentation.

Q: Will the cooling function be compromised after washing?

The cooling function will not normally be affected when the garment is cleaned according to its care instructions. Batteries, fans, semiconductor modules, PCM packs, and other removable components must be removed before washing. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach, strong acids or alkalis, high-temperature drying, and improper mechanical cleaning. Cleaning instructions vary by product, so always follow the care label and product manual supplied with the garment.

Customization & Upgrade Services
Q: Can existing workwear be upgraded to Cooling Clothing? What is the transformation period?

Yes. We can evaluate existing uniforms and determine whether evaporative, PCM, fan, semiconductor, or other cooling systems can be integrated without interfering with the garment's original function. Please provide a sample, technical drawing, fabric information, intended working environment, and safety requirements. The development schedule will be confirmed after the garment structure and customization requirements have been reviewed.

Q: Can you customize special products such as cooling helmet pads, collars, or wristbands?

Yes. In addition to cooling garments, we can develop products such as cooling helmet pads, collars, wristbands, and other wearable cooling accessories. Feasibility depends on the required cooling method, product size, weight, wearing position, protective-equipment compatibility, and safety requirements. Please send us your drawings, reference samples, application details, or design concept for evaluation.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity? Can we customize just one piece?

The minimum order quantity depends on the product type, material, cooling system, and level of customization. A single prototype or evaluation sample may be available for some projects, but its cost will differ from mass-production pricing. Please send us the required model, quantity, size, logo, fabric, and functional requirements so that we can confirm the applicable MOQ and quotation.

Q: How do Cooling Clothing for firefighters balance flame retardancy and heat dissipation?

Firefighting cooling garments must use suitable flame-resistant materials and a cooling structure that does not obstruct movement or interfere with other personal protective equipment. Cooling components can be positioned to improve heat dissipation while reducing direct exposure to flames, impact, and abrasion. Because firefighting requirements vary by country and application, the complete garment and cooling system must be evaluated against the required safety standard before use. Please provide the applicable certification and working-condition requirements during project development.

Q: How do cooling garments for construction workers withstand high-wear environments?

Construction models can use abrasion-resistant and tear-resistant fabrics, reinforced seams, protected cooling components, and strengthened panels in high-wear areas. High-visibility colors, reflective strips, dust protection, water resistance, and replaceable components can also be added according to the worksite. We recommend confirming the main sources of wear, working posture, temperature, humidity, and required protective functions before selecting the final design.

Q: Are medical cooling garments compatible with disinfection and sterilization procedures?

Compatibility depends on the garment material, cooling system, disinfectant, treatment temperature, and cleaning frequency. Medical models can be designed with removable or sealed cooling components and fabrics selected for the required cleaning process. Please provide your hospital or laboratory's disinfection protocol before ordering so that we can evaluate material compatibility and arrange sample testing. The garment should not be described as sterile or sterilization-compatible unless the completed product has been validated for the specified process.

Materials & Quality Assurance
Q: Can the fabric provide antistatic, flame-resistant, or chemical-resistant protection?

Yes. Special fabrics and finishes can be selected to provide functions such as antistatic performance, flame resistance, water resistance, and resistance to certain chemicals. The correct material depends on the specific hazard, exposure level, working environment, and applicable standard. These functions are not included in every cooling garment by default, so please provide the required test standard or performance level before production.

Q: Does the weight of the Cooling Clothing affect wearing comfort?

Weight and weight distribution can affect comfort, especially during long working periods. Evaporative, PCM, fan, semiconductor, and vortex systems have different weights and operating requirements. We improve comfort through balanced component placement, adjustable straps, suitable sizing, breathable fabrics, and ergonomic design. For extended use, we recommend evaluating a sample under actual working conditions before confirming the final design.

Q: What cooling solution is recommended for environments above 50°C, such as steel plants?

Extremely high-temperature environments require a site-specific assessment rather than a standard garment recommendation. Depending on temperature, radiant heat, humidity, mobility, working duration, and available power or compressed air, the solution may use PCM, fan-assisted, semiconductor, water-circulation, or vortex cooling technology. Cooling clothing should be used together with appropriate protective equipment, ventilation, work-rest schedules, hydration, and other workplace heat-control measures. It must not replace the employer's heat-stress management or required safety procedures.

Q: What is the delivery time? Can an order be expedited?

Delivery time depends on the product model, order quantity, material availability, customization requirements, sample approval, and production schedule. Standard products are generally faster to prepare than fully customized garments. Please provide the required quantity and delivery date when requesting a quotation. Expedited production may be available after the factory confirms material availability and production capacity.

Q: Are free samples available?

Sample availability depends on the product model, stock status, customization requirements, and destination. Standard evaluation samples may be available for selected products, while customized samples may require development and material charges. Please contact our sales team with the product name, intended application, quantity, and shipping address so that we can confirm the current sample policy and freight arrangement.

Q: How are quality problems handled after delivery?

Please contact our after-sales team promptly and provide the order number, product photos or videos, and a detailed description of the problem. We will assess the issue and provide troubleshooting, repair, replacement, return, or exchange support as applicable. According to our published after-sales policy, quality-related return or exchange requests should be submitted within 7 days of receipt, and customization discrepancies should be reported within 3 days. Products are covered by a one-year warranty for eligible non-human-induced damage; damage caused by improper use or incorrect cleaning is excluded.
