A water circulating cooling vest is a type of personal cooling garment developed to reduce body heat through active water flow technology. Designed and manufactured by Suzhou SenJoy Cooling Clothing Garment Co., Ltd., this vest helps regulate body temperature in high-heat environments by using chilled water that continuously circulates through a network of tubing embedded within the vest’s fabric.
The system typically includes a vest with integrated water channels, a micro water pump, and an external reservoir containing cold or ice water. Once the system is activated, the pump drives cold water through the tubing, allowing the water to absorb and remove excess body heat from the wearer. This process helps maintain a comfortable core temperature, even during prolonged exposure to hot conditions.
Unlike traditional cooling vests that rely on ice packs, phase change materials, or battery-powered fans, the water circulating cooling vest offers active and continuous cooling. Its main differences include:
Structural Difference: Instead of passive cooling elements, this vest uses a circulating water system powered by a micro pump.
Cooling Consistency: It provides stable and uniform cooling, whereas ice packs and phase change materials may lead to uneven or rapidly diminishing effects.
Reusability: The vest does not require refreezing or material replacement—just the addition of cold water to restart the cooling process.
Adaptability: It works effectively in both dry and humid environments, unlike fan-based systems that depend on ambient airflow.
These differences make the water circulating cooling vest a more efficient and reliable solution for body heat management.
The core function of the water circulating cooling vest is based on continuous water circulation. The system works in three simple steps:
Chilled Water Supply: Cold or ice water is stored in an external reservoir connected to the vest.
Pump-Driven Flow: A micro water pump pushes the cold water through the tubing inside the vest.
Heat Absorption and Return: As the water flows along the wearer's body, it absorbs surface heat and then returns to the reservoir to be cooled again.
This continuous cycle ensures that the wearer experiences effective heat removal over an extended period without interruption. The design enables precise thermal regulation while maintaining comfort and flexibility in various working or outdoor conditions.
